Each Holiday season, Tanglewood Park is transformed into a dazzling Winter Wonderland of over one million lights! Entering its 29th season, the Festival of Lights at Tanglewood Park lights a nearly 5-mile route that has been named “one of the best light shows in the country.” This renowned family tradition is one that the family can enjoy in comfort and safety from the car. During the drive-thru light show, attendees will take in the sights while listening to festive tunes, including original compositions from UNC School of the Arts students. The Festival of Lights at Tanglewood Park is open nightly from 6 pm – 11 pm, Nov. 13 – Jan. 1, 2021.

Admission to the Festival is $15 per family paid upon arrival at Tanglewood Park. Thursdays-Sundays are very popular nights at Festival of Lights. During these nights, long lines and wait times should be expected. Weekends are especially busy and 4 hour wait times should be expected. Also, if visitors are not inside the park gate by 11PM, they may not get into the show before it closes. For more information visit the Tanglewood Park website.
